Estonia (EU, VAT 24%) is a smaller market but with modern customs systems.
Prohibited items are standard (no weapons, drugs, etc.). As a Baltic country, Estonia also has cultural artifact protections (e.g. things related to national heritage can't be imported/exported freely). One notable point: Estonia restricts firearms parts and replica weapons strongly – even antique or toy guns can cause issues, so avoid sending anything resembling a weapon.
Customs/duties: Follows EU rules; gift allowance €45, duty-free = €150 for now.
Delivery: Estonia is tech-savvy, the recipient might use self-service kiosks ("parcel lockers") a lot. If the parcel is headed to a parcel locker, we will need the correct phone number and possibly email to notify the recipient. Ensure the address includes the correct postal code (5 digits) and if it's a rural address, the parish/municipality.
