Additional Information

Latvia (EU, VAT 21%) is a Baltic state with EU rules.

Prohibited items: Standard EU list (no weapons, drugs, etc.). Nothing particularly unique; just avoid anything that would violate general laws.

Duty/tax: EU thresholds apply. Latvia's customs process is relatively straightforward. One thing to note: many Latvians shop internationally, so their customs is used to processing personal parcels. Still, provide clear invoices.

Delivery: Addresses in Latvia can sometimes be given in two languages (Latvian and Russian); use the format given by the recipient and complete the customs forms in English. Include the postal code (LV-xxxx). Ensure the recipient's phone is on the package. Couriers might call for directions in rural areas.

Latvia is an EU member state. For complete EU shipping guidelines, prohibited items, and packaging requirements, view our EU Shipping Guide.

We do not ship alcohol, tobacco, prescription medicines, cannabis, or similar restricted goods.

Need help with tracking or delivery?

Your Polimark tracking number works from Canada all the way through final delivery. In most cases, this is the only tracking number you'll ever need.

Track Your Parcel Here

How local delivery tracking works (rarely needed)

Once your parcel reaches Latvia and is handed to SmartPosti (for GLS) (the local final-mile carrier), a local courier tracking ID may be generated. This local ID is automatically linked to your Polimark tracking behind the scenes.

Most customers never need to use this local tracking ID.
Polimark remains your primary point of contact for tracking updates and delivery questions.

When would I need the local tracking ID?

Only in uncommon situations, for example:

A recipient wants to manually change a delivery date
A pickup point selection needs to be adjusted directly with the local carrier

If that ever happens, just contact us and we'll provide the local tracking ID for you.
