Additional Information

Spain (EU, VAT 21%) mainland only. We do not ship to islands (including the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Ceuta, or Melilla).

Prohibited items: Standard EU bans. Spain additionally prohibits weapons (including knives of certain types), and is strict on prescription drugs. No food of animal origin from outside EU (like elsewhere).

Duties: EU thresholds.

Delivery: Spanish addresses often have a street name, house number, then possibly a floor/door (e.g. "3ºB" means 3rd floor, apartment B). Include all of that to ensure the courier finds the address. If the recipient is in a gated building, a notice is typically left for pickup at a courier collection point if they're not home.

Delivery & Pickup in Spain (GLS)

GLS Spain uses Parcel Shops/GLS Points with clear pickup windows and delivery hours.

Home delivery window

GLS delivers Monday to Friday during business hours (route dependent).

Second attempt + agency/Parcel Shop hold

Depending on the contracted service, there may be a second delivery attempt.
If still not delivered after the second attempt, the parcel can be held at the local GLS agency.
Local GLS agency: returned after 7 calendar days from the first delivery attempt (if not delivered/collected).
Parcel Shop: parcels stored for 7 calendar days for pickup.

How local delivery tracking works (rarely needed)

Once your parcel reaches Spain and is handed to GLS Spain (the local final-mile carrier), a local courier tracking ID may be generated. This local ID is automatically linked to your Polimark tracking behind the scenes.

Most customers never need to use this local tracking ID.
Polimark remains your primary point of contact for tracking updates and delivery questions.

When would I need the local tracking ID?

Only in uncommon situations, for example:

A recipient wants to manually change a delivery date
A pickup point selection needs to be adjusted directly with the local carrier

If that ever happens, just contact us and we'll provide the local tracking ID for you.
